
Objective
The International Association for China Tourism Studies (IACTS) is a global organization established to advance both theoretical and applied research on China’s tourism development and its connections with the wider world.
Mission
The mission of the IACTS is to advance scholarly research and professional inquiry into China’s tourism. Related objectives include: (a) fostering the development and application of tourism knowledge in the Chinese context, and (b) promoting international collaboration and the global exchange of ideas and research on China tourism.
Members
Its membership consists of distinguished tourism scholars from around the world who are recognized for their significant contributions to China tourism research and scholarship.
Non-Profit Organization
The Academy is incorporated as a non-profit corporation with an official headquarters in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong.
