Guoqing Du

Biography

Professor Guoqing Du has a strong background in Geography. His research focuses on urban tourism with a particular focus on spatial structure of tourism and application of GIS, and smart tourism. Over the years, Professor Du has played significant roles in a number of collaborative projects, covering smart tourism, sustainable development and spatial structure of inbound tourism in Japan, development and spatial structure of tourism in China, and agriturismo agglomeration in Italy. Professor Du has written on spatial structure of inbound tourists in Japan, development of tourism in China, and distribution of tourists’ spots in Tokyo by UGC.
