

Christina Chi
Biography
Dr. Christina G. Chi is Professor at the Carson College of Business (CCB), Washington State University (WSU). Her area of research includes customer experience and destination marketing in cultural and heritage sites, sustainability and wellbeing in tourism & hospitality industry, and food and wine consumption behavior. Dr. Chi is the recipient of the 2025 Michael D. Olsen Research Achievement Award.
Dr. Chi is well published in top-tier tourism/hospitality journals. Her research has high impact and is widely cited ( https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=LpMZgwwAAAAJ&hl=en). She is included in the world’s top 2% most cited scientists’ list (career-long and single-year) for consecutive years. Her research has been featured in major international media and major U.S. TV networks. Dr. Chi is regularly invited by universities worldwide as a visiting professor and guest lecturer, and as external reviewer for their faculty promotion.
