Biography
Dr. Feifei Xu is a professor in the School of Architecture at Southeast University, China. She serves as the Director of the Centre for Ecotourism and Regional Development, Southeast University. Her research interests focus on tourism in protected areas, sustainable tourism as well as digital tourism. She has been a Principal Investigator for many research projects funded by the British Academy, World Animal Protection, the Chinese National Nature Science Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, among others. Prof. Xu has maintained a productive research agenda, with more than 100 peer-reviewed papers published in leading journals such as Tourism Management and Journal of Sustainable Tourism. She is a member of the Standing Committee of both the Chinese Association of Tourism Geographies and the Chinese Association of Tourism Resources. Additionally, she serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including Tourism Analysis and the Journal of China Tourism Research, and is an Associate Editor of Tourism Review.
