Huimin Gu

Huimin Gu is Professor, School of Tourism Sciences at Beijing International Studies University; Director of China Hospitality Industry Research Base, China Tourism Academy. She won the title of Beijing High Level Innovation Talent, Beijing Great Wall Scholar Plan, Beijing Famous Teacher, Excellent Young Teacher of Beijing. She authored and translated more than 10 books and published about 100 academic papers in international and domestic journals including Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Tourism Management, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, International Journal of Hospitality management, Tourism Analysis, Nankai Management Review (China). 

She has been awarded at the provincial and ministerial levels, including the Excellent Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences from the Ministry of Education, the Excellent Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences from Beijing Municipality, the Excellent Research Achievement Award from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Tourism Administration, as well as the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
