Jingjing Yang

Professor Yang Jingjing has been recognized internationally as an expert of tourism development in China. She has international teaching experience in Macao, in mainland China, in England, and in New Zealand. She has worked not only in academics, but also in government, the tourism industry, tourism planning, and consultancy. Working with multiple stakeholders in multiple fields in multiple countries/regions equips her with leadership qualities and skills, international thinking and working approach, and collaboration with different stakeholders.

Professor Yang has internationally recognized research and scholarship. This is evidenced by honors and professional distinctions, publications of books and articles in high-ranking journals, delivering international and national conference keynote speeches and seminars, and participating in editorial, advisory and review bodies. Professor Yang has been awarded ‘2017 Outstanding Author Contribution’ by Emerald Group Publishing, and ‘2014 Article of the Year’ by the journal Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research. She served as Associate Editor (China) of the journal Tourism Management (2019-2022), the leading international journal in tourism and a top journal in management.
