Li Miao

Dr. Li Miao is a Professor and Head of Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management, Faculty of Business Administration at University of Macau. She is also a Professorial Fellow of the University of Macau Development Foundation. Professor Miao is a distinguished scholar in the field of hospitality and tourism management, with extensive experience in teaching, research, and industry practice spanning multiple countries.  She has won multiple research and teaching awards.  She is on the world's top 2% scientists list (developed by a research team at Stanford University based on Elsevier Data Repository) in the subject area of Sport, Leisure & Tourism.  Professor Miao is an Executive Editor of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research. Her research interests include hospitality and tourism experiences, the intersection among culture, technology, and experience, and emerging travel and tourism behaviors.
